The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step followed by a second step followed by……

I am 68 days away from my Camino Adventure and while I’m excited, I’m also scared. What if I can’t do it? What if I hurt myself? What if it rains for 40 days?

What if! The worst phrase created by humanity is ‘what if’. It is a wall we have built thinking it will protect us but in reality it keeps us from doing what we need to do and that is live!

We can find any excuse not to do something that pushes us beyond the limits we think we have, but we need to find an excuse to do it anyway. I have come to the realization that if I can’t complete this journey it doesn’t mean I have failed, it means this is not the right time to do it.

I will keep walking and train to be better prepared, but you have to expect the unexpected.
