I started my countdown to starting the Camino at 100 days and time really does fly as I am 50 days before I head out on this adventure.

Am I excited? Yes, I am ready and want to leave today!

Am I scared? Yes, when I think about what I committed to I have apprehension because I am doing this alone. Yes I will meet hundreds if not thousands of others doing the same thing but the reason I am testing myself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually is truly an individual endeavour.

I don’t know how I will get through this. While I am preparing myself but you have to except the unexpected, but isn’t this life not just us who decided to walk the Way.

I have started gathering my paraphernalia and I need to start packing my backpack and walking with it, because I will be carrying my life on my back.

And this will be a necessary addition.
