The final stages to complete the pilgrimage is definitely quieter. I saw 13 other pilgrims heading to the k Jo End-of-the-World and 5 walking back. Some take a bus there and walk back to Santiago.
Since it is less travelled there are less services along the way so being prepared is essential. So it is a lonelier walk, but still stunning scenery and hence it has the feel of just a walk.

But there still are rituals, stamp collecting, and once in Fisterra pilgrims should take a bath in Langosteira Beach, and burn some old garment used on the Way.
They called for rain all week and so far they got it right. While it did rain on and off throughout my walk today, it was more an annoyance than anything. Now in a nice Albergue listening to the rain.
