This is officially my 4th week of walking; 28 full days and have clocked 1,314,976 steps and 754 kilometres or 468.5 miles! And only 83 kilometres left to go!!!!!🥳

Today was using map 29 and part of map 30.

So the novelty of staying in Albergues has worn off! I can’t sleep in a room with 50 other people again! Even with 7 others is testing me!

So I am booking private rooms which means planning ahead. I vowed to not book ahead and I don’t have to; there is plenty of space I just need to ensure I am alone. Especially now that members of the 100 Club have joined the walk. To get recognition of walking the Camino one just has to walk the final 100 kilometres.

So these pilgrims are energized, fresh as daisies and are on holiday, so I am trying to avoid them. As I have said everyone walks their own way and for the most part everyone is great and the odd annoying ones I just avoid. It’s great to be in an environment where so many languages are being spoken that it’s easy to just put a dumb look on your face and pretend you don’t understand, they tend to walk away from you.
