So today I had no plan! Put my Faith in the Camino. Just get up and walk until the Camino says to stop and that was in Burgo.

As a result I will be entering Santiago tomorrow Sunday October 15, 2023!

Today I woke up rested, well feed, had no aches or pain (out of the ordinary), I was energized and just feeling alive. Not sure if it’s the energy of being so close or the excitement, but so grateful that I have come this far.

It could be that I have already completed my Camino.

I met a group of Canadians doing the shorter version. One person said I looked so happy, alert and not the tired exhausted look of other pilgrims. And at that moment I realized I have already accomplished what I needed on this journey. Entering Santiago is the icing on the cake.

There are definitely more pilgrims on the trail, however those I would recognize are not visible. We are lost in the crowd. I was thinking it would be nice to end this journey with someone, even though I walked alone. I never had that feeling until today maybe it’s because we are a community. Just as I was writing this a pilgrim I have chatted with over the past 2 weeks walks by! We had a long conversation and we walk together in the morning.

Oh you Camino!!!!!!

So again the Camino provides.
